Major Arcana · card XIX
The Sun
joy, clarity, success
Reading it upright
A child rides a white horse under a blazing sun. It is one of the warmest cards in the deck: things are clear, energy is high, and good news is easy to see.
Reading it reversed
Reversed, the joy is still there but dimmed, delayed or not fully let in.
Journal prompt
What is going well that I have not let myself enjoy?
Study tip. Draw The Sun on purpose, set it in front of you, and write three things you can literally see in the picture before you look at any notes. Your own observations will stay with you longer than a keyword list.
Notes on this site are a starting point. Different decks and readers interpret cards differently, and a reading is never a substitute for professional advice.
