Major Arcana · card XVIII
The Moon
uncertainty, dreams, illusion
Reading it upright
A path runs between two towers under a moon, with a dog and a wolf howling. Not everything is clear. The card speaks of intuition, anxiety, dreams and things that look different in daylight.
Reading it reversed
Reversed, confusion lifts, or a fear turns out smaller than it looked.
Journal prompt
What am I afraid of that I have not checked in daylight?
Study tip. Draw The Moon on purpose, set it in front of you, and write three things you can literally see in the picture before you look at any notes. Your own observations will stay with you longer than a keyword list.
Notes on this site are a starting point. Different decks and readers interpret cards differently, and a reading is never a substitute for professional advice.
