Major Arcana · card I
The Magician
skill, focus, tools at hand
Reading it upright
One hand points up and one points down, and all four suit symbols sit on the table. The card is about using what you already have. In a reading it often marks the moment when talent turns into action.
Reading it reversed
Upside down it can point to scattered effort, or to someone using charm to cover thin substance. Ask which tool is lying unused.
Journal prompt
Which of my skills am I underusing right now?
Study tip. Draw The Magician on purpose, set it in front of you, and write three things you can literally see in the picture before you look at any notes. Your own observations will stay with you longer than a keyword list.
Notes on this site are a starting point. Different decks and readers interpret cards differently, and a reading is never a substitute for professional advice.
