Reading it upright
A religious figure blesses two followers. The card is about institutions, schools, mentors and shared beliefs. For students it is the card of learning from a lineage before breaking from it.
Reading it reversed
Reversed, it can signal questioning a tradition, leaving a group, or following a rule that no longer fits.
